Located in the heart of Chesaning, Michigan, sits a family clothing store, offering quality, service, and dependability. Those three words have driven Ed Rehmann & Sons into Michigan history. Over the last ten decades, they have sold millions of pieces of clothing, including Carhartt, a Michigan based clothing company.
Upon hearing the news of COVID-19, the owners, Ric, Rob, and Nancy Rehmann, closed the store to protect their employees and customers.
“It was really hard, but out of this came a new website,” said Rob Rehmann. “Our customers can now shop our merchandise online. We’re really grateful to offer this added service for those who want to shop from home.”
Each member of the Rehmann family is quick to point out that their hometown of Chesaning has been the backbone of their success, which has motivated them to always give back. With the new safety precautions in place, the Rehmann family is ready to give back in a new way.
“We understand we may need to limit the number of customers in our store,” said Rob Rehmann. “But we’re ready to do that. We will also be providing masks to those who forgot theirs at home or simply do not have one. It’s very important to us to keep everyone safe and healthy.”
“From the customers’ comments back to us during the Stay-At-Home order… They miss us. And we miss them,” said Nancy Rehmann. “We can’t wait to have our customers back and safely shopping in our store.”
