Special Projects Coordinator
Josh comes to the Michigan SBDC with experience that aligns with the mission and constituents of the organization. After completing his undergraduate degree Josh led a small business to a 37.3% increase in revenue through organizational development initiatives during a four year tenure. Later in his role at Davenport University Josh worked with Michigan businesses to develop corporate training, professional development, and higher-education partnerships. He also serves on the Executive Committee of American Model United Nations International conference as well as the Executive Committee of the Aquinas College Alumni Board.
Josh has extensive experience planning and executing events and projects. These have included global collegiate conferences, donor receptions, alumni dinners, golf outings, music festivals, private parties, and hundreds of motor-sport events. He has also executed dozens of special projects to support functional areas such as marketing, operations, finance, fundraising, and human resources. Josh received his BA in History and Spanish from Aquinas College in 2010 and received his MBA from Davenport University in April, 2017. He has also fulfilled the experience and education requisites for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and aspires to complete the certification exam when he is not too busy having fun with his amazing daughter.
